Trillian came to us on 7/3/20 from the CT Grand Slam rescue. She was living alone for maternity watch, but ended up reabsorbing her litter, so on 8/7/20 Floyd & Willow joined her and they are now buddies!

UPDATE 9/8/20:

Trillian has come such a long way since she first came to us from the grand slam rescue! She has learned that she can trust us, she allows us to handle her, and she comes running whenever we offer Cheerios, walnuts, or frozen peas. She is a bit “mouthy” – she definitely explores with her teeth, but doesn’t nip aggressively like she did in the beginning. She occasionally pushes her sisters around, especially Floyd, but she seems to be thriving now that she has cage mates.

Floyd is the most reserved of the three. She is very sweet and will take treats from our hands, but usually retreats to the back of the cage to eat them where she knows we can’t grab or pet her. ? When we handle her, we try to make sure that we’ve got one of the other girls at the same time.

Willow is curious, outgoing, and full of energy. She’s quick to climb out and explore around the outside of her cage, and she always lets us pick her up. She will occasionally chill in the front pocket of a hoodie, but she usually prefers to climb up and down our arms and backs!”
