On 5/17/21, MRR was contacted about a group of rats found abandoned. These rats had been brought to another shelter in Maine, having been found in two taped up Dunkin Donuts boxes. 100+ rats in one house..! These rats came to us between 7/1-7/12/2020 from a home in Connecticut. MRR volunteers visited the home several times over the course of almost two weeks. French Fry came to us in May 2018 nervous and very under-socialized. Between temperament and senior status, he has been made a permanent foster with us.
