Over 200 rats abandoned in Ithaca, NY!

In mid-November, over 300 rats, mice, guinea pigs, and gerbils were found abandoned outside near Ithaca, NY. MRR was able to help by taking in nearly 160, including adult females and pinkies, and many more have since been born. We will have over 15 litters ready for adoption soon and we are taking adoption applications at any time!

We will have babies of both sexes, as well as their mothers, ready for adoption. We anticipate plenty of variety in color, coat type, ear type, etc, but please be prepared to adopt one PEW (pink-eyed-white) per pair in most cases–we want to give everyone a fair shot at going home, and most litters are close to 50/50 PEW/non-PEW.
