UPDATE 11/15/16 on Becky’s girls:

“These girls are so amazing and would do great in any home together or all alone.  They love snacks and will run to the front of the cage for them. They love sleeping and snuggling with each other. They are really starting to love the play area and are all over the place.  They are high energy and love to play. Some love to play with me while others are not sure if they want to or not. They are So cute just love them.  <3”

UPDATE 1/30/17 on Becky’s girls:

“These guys have come so far since they first came. I can pick them up most of the time with them not making a sound. I love playing with them in the play area. They find it such fun to try and climb to the top of the cage before I can get them. They also love chasing, cuddling, and wrestling with each other. They can be a rattie handful when they feel like it. <3 All love snacks and having a cuddle buddy in the cage. They sleep in big groups in the houses and hammocks. These girls will go great into any home together or by themseves. They are a little shy but will warm up with some TLC. ”

UPDATE 12/6/16 on Jennifer’s girls:

Swanna is very energetic.  She’s always moving, always exploring somewhere.  She’s the first one to run over to my rat and start sniffing him, and the first one over to the cage door while her sisters sleep.  (She’s also the first one to start chewing through their fleece and nibbling on Kleenex boxes.)  She’s become very friendly now that she’s used to me a bit, and enjoys loooooong pets down her back and trying to eat my shirts.

Surskit is very sweet.  She likes getting head scritches and is the most comfortable being picked up and cuddled.  She’s perfectly content to stay in my arms and let me stroke her head for a couple of minutes at a time.  She and Swanna are very friendly together and she likes to follow where Swanna goes.

Azuril is very quiet still.  She doesn’t like being picked up, although she’ll let you pet her head for a little while once you have her.  The easiest way to get her to come out for playtime is to use a box or something to scoop her up and deposit her onto the bed.  She should go to a home that either has no children, or that has maybe older children who are experienced with rats.  She tends to be nippy and startles easily.”

UPDATE 3/9/17 on Jennifer’s girls:

Swanna and Surskit are nearly inseparable.  If one of them is getting loved on, the other one has to come charging over to try and get in on the action!  They like to hang out at the front of the cage so that I can pet the both of them at once.  Swanna is the more active of the two – she’s always running around and trying to get in to everything.  She’s very brave, and just wants to explore.  Surskit is a bit quieter, and likes to groom herself next to you and see if she can chew on your shirt without you noticing.  She loves to groom fingernails, as opposed to Swanna, who just wants to eat your hair.

Azuril is the quietest of the three, but she’s started coming out of her shell more now that she knows me better.  She likes head scritches, but she gets nervous when she sees a finger approaching her, so you need to pet her with your whole hand to start with and then give her the finger scritches once she’s more relaxed.  She likes to explore as long as the other girls are out with her, but it’s good to give her a box or a house that she can go inside when she’s had enough.  She gets along the best with my personal rat- he’s not as active as the girls are, so they usually end up having quiet time together in their house.  She would probably do really well with some neutered boys.  ”
