Arlo came to us on 11/6/23 due to some behavioral issues. Zap came to us on 7/19/22 after being rescued from someone who was keeping rats caged outdoors in mixed-sex groups. Zap was adopted with his brother Mati on 2/16/23. Zap & Mati came back to us on 12/31/23 because their owner no longer had time for them. Sadly Mati passed soon after returning. Zap was introduced to Arlo and they became fast friends.

“This unlikely duo of an awkward teenager and senior gentleman are ready for their furever home.
Arlo’s social skills were lacking and he needed a rat buddy who would be patient with his antics and teach him how to rat. Zap was grieving the loss of his cage mate and needed a cheerful pal to help him enjoy life again. Luckily they found each other while in foster care and are now best buddies.
Both are very easy to handle. Arlo loves the dig box and building nests from crinkle paper. Zap loves to snuggle and explore. Both are extremely handsome! ”
