Winky came to us on 3/1/26 as part of an accidental litter. Due to chronic health issues, He has been made a sanctuary animal.

Winky’s story has a happy ending, but his beginnings were very rough. When he and his litter mates were surrendered, they were emaciated and sickly due to neglect. It was touch-and-go for these babies, but with excellent foster care, TLC and the help of our local vets, they all pulled through. Special thanks to Sandy, their foster mom, who never gave up on them – and now they are thriving! All of his brothers and sisters were adopted, but Winky has some lingering health issues that will need care for the rest of his life. He is living very happily with new friends, plenty of things to do, lots of love, and most importantly – treats!
