Wilbur came to us on 7/9/16 because his mom was adopted pregnant and the owner couldn’t keep the males. His previous owner says:

“He loves to run around and popcorn. He also enjoys jumping onto and sitting on his hidey holes. He is the most affectionate baby. He likes being held and scratched on the head. He eats veggies including red and green leaf lettuce, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, parsley, apple, carrot, kale, spinach, corn on the cob, cucumber, red pepper (only red for some reason!), alfalfa, meadow and timothy hay as well as oxbow cavy cuisine pellets. I am so happy he will being going somewhere with the love and big cage he needs!”

Fostered by Ruth in Amesbury, MA.

UPDATE 7/15/16 from Foster mom:

Willy is still shy but getting better. You have to chase him to pick him up and he sometimes struggles when you hold him. He had so much more confidence while out last night and spent 10 minutes chilling on my shoulder while I sat on my couch. So far he’s doing 95 plus percent of his business in the litter boxes which is awesome. He’s picky about fresh stuff  but I keep trying new stuff.

Update 7/18/16
Willy the piggie is definitely coming out of his shell. Was doing piggy 500s and popcorning and side twisting in the air. Had to have come almost 4 inches off the ground. Had me laughing good.

UPDATE 7/30/16

Willy is a great funny, friendly pig but he can be opinionated.  He loves head scritches, but like most teenagers, will get a little ‘tude and nip if you try to cuddle him when he’s not in the mood.   Right now, he would do well in an experience home with adults or older children who understand how to work with him.
