Velvet came to us on 3/9/25 because her owner could no longer care for her. She has chronic medical issues, so she has joined the crew of sanctuary rats.

Velvet is a very affectionate, good-natured lady who loves to be held and petted. She always comes straight to the door to ask for human attention. She can’t chew very well because of her tooth problems, but she appreciates soft or bite-sized treats.
