UPDATE 7/13/24:

“Good things come to those who wait. Tuscany, Venice and Sicily are sweet, beautiful girls who will benefit from an experienced owner who will offer them the time and patience they need to come out of their shells.

When they came into foster care, they basically hid all the time, but they have since learned that people are okay. They are friendly and curious. They will now come to the doors of the cage to seek treats. They will climb all over their foster mom in the play area. While they prefer not to be picked up, they are more likely to run away than bite. They will hop into an igloo or carrier for transport between locations. In their cage, you can often find them jammed into a sputnik or stacked in a hanging cloth cave. They love each other and will love their humans, once they are comfortable in their new situation.

Tuscany is the bold explorer. She is the first to run to the doors of the cage when her foster mom comes into the room. She will readily jump or climb out of the cage, given the opportunity, to check out her surroundings. All you need to do to get her back in is offer an open carrier or igloo.

Venice is usually not far behind Tuscany. She also jumps into the carrier easily for cage cleaning or transport to or from the play area.

Sicily is the most timid of the three. She will usually be the last to come to the cage doors, but will take treats from your hand. It can sometimes take awhile to encourage her into the carrier, or even an igloo or tunnel for transport. Some days you may have to work around her while doing cage maintenance because she just does not want to come out.”
