UPDATE 7/8/22:
“Stella is curious but also requires a bit of trust before she will let you handle her. She’s very jiggly and prefers to be admired and pet from her cage as she is not the biggest fan of being held. When she is held, she will wiggle around to try to get back to her cage as it makes her a bit nervous. She’s a sweet little lady who will take well to a patient and gentle hand.
Noelle is also curious and wants to know everything that is going on. Like Stella, she enjoys being pet from the comfort of her cage after she has gotten to sniff you. Sudden movements tend to startle her, so she is best approached with consent. She likes to explore a bit with her teeth, but don’t be alarmed – it’s just her way of learning about her surroundings and about you.
Overall, both girls would be best suited for someone who is not new to owning rats and has experience with more skittish personalities. They are definitely sweet little ladies, but are still working on building their confidence. Patience and consent is the name of the game.”
