UPDATE 1/5/22:

“Snap is a fast moving bundle of energy! He likes to find and steal things that he can stash away boxes and hides. It’s both funny and entertaining to watch! He can be very nervous of people. His confidence is growing quickly, but if you are having trouble grabbing him, I recommend taking a break and allowing him to calm down, because he really panics. He also doesn’t know his own strength! Pet rats will often feel their way through the world with their teeth…gently. Snap, not so much! His brother Crackle was cleaning my nails for me and Snap took an interest in this. Instead of helping his brothers efforts, he mouthed my palm hard enough to draw blood. He has a similar exploration style with most things, including the clothing you have on or food you are offering. At this time, he will not be suitable for children, but he is learning how to be gentle and I am encouraged by his progress.

Crackle has major squishy boy potential. He is the largest and most friendly of the 3. He has sat calmly in my lap for some cuddles and is also the first to come greet me at the front of the cage. He is extremely food motivated and I bet you could train him some tricks!

Pop is a peculiar fella. He doesn’t demand attention like his brothers, but will quietly participate in the happenings around him. His mannerisms and the way he likes to nap makes me smile. It’s funny, when I go to pick him up, he freezes and waits. Such a sweet boy!”
