UPDATE 2/1/26:
Douglas and Siffrin are looking for a very special adopter. This adopter would be patient, experienced with ratty behavior, and would appreciate the independence and quirkiness of these two boys. They would enjoy spending play time with the boys outside of the cage, and would allow them to interact on their terms.
These two have come a long way during their time in foster care. They will come when their foster parents call them, and will readily take treats from their hands. They will enjoy face rubs from an extended hand, but prefer not to be picked up. Allowing them to come out on their own, or using a box or hide to move them out of the cage, is best. Although they may back away if a hand goes over them, they do not bite.
Douglas and Siffrin have cute energy. They love free roam time, shredding chew toys and forage wheels.
Due to the unique blend of personalities, it would be best for these boys to be the only group in a cage, as introductions could be challenging.
