UPDATE 7/25/24:
Screw and Torque are together. Screw is still biting hands, but we’re working on it. Screw is learning to get into a carrier to be transported, and to take treats from a spoon. Torque is terrified of me.
Wing, Tee, and Hex are together. Tee is sometimes friendly, sometimes timid. Hex is very timid.
Wing currently has a head tilt and began meds 7/24 for 14 days. She is the alpha of these three.
For the boys, Keps is alpha, and sociable. The other boys are nervous but making progress. They will dart out or poke their heads out of hideys for treats. Castle was terrified, but does seem to be making some progress. The boys love almond slivers.
UPDATE 7/22/24:
“All of the babies are wary of humans, but have slowly started to be a bit more accepting. The exception to this is mom Screwy who is still territorial and will bite.
An experienced rat owner is preferred as they will need more work to come out of their shells and be more comfortable with people.”
