“Scout– wildly curious! Always the first to explore something new, always wanting to be at the top of the cage (or on top of it, even better!) not at all shy, would rather climb on the tallest thing to look for new worlds and adventures than cuddle. Not easily spooked. Does well with litter box if you’re consistent w substrate & let the box be a little dirtier than the main cage. Likes sitting in the litter box to eat his treats.
Pocket– Very shy at first, but the biggest cuddle bug of the trio. Wants to be in a bonding pouch, a pocket or a hood, wants to hang out with His People once he bonds with them. Most likely to hide under furniture if spooked, Easiest Spooked. Will squeak when touched, prefers rat-initiated interactions to human-initiated interactions (let him come to you) Does well with litter box if you’re consistent w substrate & let the box be a little dirtier than the main cage.
Fribble– of the three, he’s the most stereotypical boy? The big squishy, lazy guy who wants a nap & a blanket. Likes to nest, but does it gradually. Loves to dig, he’ll need a dig box, he gets very bored and naps extra (or digs in the litter box) when I remove the dig box for cleaning. Refuses to use litter box like a tiny defiant poop.”
