Ruben came to MRR on 4/10/25 as a stray who was found in NYC. Due to some behavioral issues, he was made sanctuary.

At first Ruben was extremely frightened and spent his time hiding. Over time, he learned to trust his foster mom and now seeks her out and enjoys eating cereal or dinner with her on the couch. He wants to play with other rats but can be overwhelming to them, although he is working on this.
