UPDATE 3/2/19:
“They all are still skittish around me, but they are getting more comfortable. Very active and curious. They love their baby puff treats as a treat when I interact with them. They get along well with my other rats, and often cuddle together. I can tell the 3 of them like to be together.”
UPDATE 6/3/19:
“They all love to explore every new thing, are very energetic, and they are really agile. They love hideouts, hammocks, and treats. Did I mention treats? Their favorite is Gerber baby puffs any flavor. They will come up to you to grab them from your hand. Although shy and sensitive, they are very good to me and their rattie friends. All 3 rats love to cuddle together with my other rats.
There is a family cat they see all the time from inside their cage – I don’t let them play with the cat. They are using aspen bedding and seem to enjoy it. I give them playtime outside the cage to roam in a small area. I have never been bitten by any of them.”
