UPDATE 12/12/25:
Rizzo and Trout are both shy boys working on coming out of their shells. Originally they were so scared they’d panic if you even moved a muscle in front of the cage, or spoke. They’re now coming to the cage door to see if you might have a treat ready for them. Both have been scooped up right from the cage once or twice, and will generally allow themselves to get scooped up at playtime with some protest.
Rizzo is the larger and braver of the two boys, and recently had a big breakthrough where he allowed himself to get pet calmly while in the cage. He enjoyed it so much even Trout came over to see what was going on. Both of them are also surprisingly good shoulder-riders and seem to enjoy coming out to tag along as you do some chores around the house.
These boys will need an experienced owner who can give them the calm and patience they need to keep building trust in people – but they were born to be big squishy PEW boys!
