Rhaegal came to us in September 2020. He and his brother were fighting, so were sent for neuters. While under anesthesia, a tumor was found in his ear canal. Most of it was able to be removed, but he needed long-term care of the tissue and to be monitored in case it returns, so he was moved to Sanctuary status.
His foster reports: “He is doing ok, had a bit of a rough patch where he seemed very uncomfortable and started biting. The vet put him on pain medication to put him more at ease. She checked his ear and started him on a flush. He is doing much better now and back to himself!”
