UPDATE 3/28/25:
Remy (grey and white) embodies his namesake because of his love of food and his shy nature. He leaves it to Splinter to investigate things first but is closely behind to sniff things out. Every snack offered to him is his favorite and he enjoys chewing on a variety of different types of toys. He will gently and curiously nibble new things in his environment as well as enjoys grooming visiting humans’ fingers and hands. Like Splinter, he too enjoys climbing on people standing at his cage and being brought out for snuggle sack time with his brother and people. He is otherwise often found napping in their nest, a hammock or a tube. Remy is a great companion to have while relaxing and brings a smile to everyone he meets.
Splinter (black and white) is a friendly and inquisitive guy. He is the more social of the two and usually greets you upon opening their cage, hoping for a snack. He is surprisingly picky about his snacks sometimes though, preferring yogi bites and dried mealworms over rice puffs. Give him a paper towel or two and he’ll be happy to make a soft bed out of it. He enjoys being taken out of the cage to explore, hanging out with Remy in a snuggle sac while hanging with his people, or just having someone stand at the cage for him to sniff and climb on. He’ll even try to borrow your shirt to bring to his nest. When he isn’t building and maintaining his nest, you can find him snuggled in a hammock napping or scaling the sides of the cage like a little rock climber. Splinter is a sweet and curious soul who is a joy to spend time with.
