These girls came to us on 4/18/22 because their owner was moving and couldn’t bring them along.

ADOPTED!
#2022178N, “Rebel”, Rat, Agouti, w/ Head Spot, Standard Ears/Standard Coat, Female, DOB: 03/25/2021, Spayed/Neutered?: Yes 06/23/2022
#2022179N, “Nova”, Rat, Beige, Mismarked Capped, Standard Ears/Standard Coat, Female, DOB: 03/25/2021, Spayed/Neutered?: Yes 06/23/2022
Special need: Nova can be cage aggressive and needs an experienced owner to work with her.
UPDATE 4/29/22:
“Both girls are healthy and very pretty rats, but a little timid. Rebel mostly keeps to herself, but she will pop out if treats are offered and is starting to investigate when the habitat door is opened. Nova can be bitey, not in an overly aggressive way, but she is very nest protective. They should probably go to advanced rat keepers who are willing to put the work in with them.”
UPDATE 9/6/22:
“Rebel and Nova are doing just fine. Rebel is very friendly and likes pats, though Nova is still prone to nipping, especially when she’s inside the cage.”
