UPDATE 9/7/19:
“The boys are super affectionate and adventurous. They love to explore but always come around for some loving and scratches. They are always at the front of the cage to be let out to explore. I have click trained them very quickly so they politely take snacks and come to be put back in the cage. I think they would make excellent first time rats or for a family. They are just so much fun and you can even kiss Little Chef! The only thing I have found that the boys don’t like are shoulder rides. Ratticus would prefer to climb on you than be picked up but he’s fine with it!
The day I brought the boys home they settled in immediately. They were unfazed by my dogs and love to explore the cat. They have been around children and enjoyed all the attention. For boys, they are neat, try to use their litter box most of the time, and honestly they even smell good. They are not neutered yet but that certainly hasn’t affected their peacefulness or their smell.”
