UPDATE 6/23/24:

Rassle rats have come a long way in the past two weeks. They still jump at a sudden movement or noise. They don’t love being picked up, but come to say hello and sniff fingers or get treats when the cage is open. They’ve met my older rats and love hanging out with the big boys. They also love running around exploring during free range time. While they’re in the cage, they’re usually imitating moles making tunnels under their fleece bedding. All of them also calm down pretty quickly when they’re in a bonding scarf.
