#2023202N, “Remi Rose”, Rat, Black, Berkshire, Standard Ears/Standard Coat, Female, DOB: 08/14/2022, Spayed/Neutered?: No

UPDATE 4/16/2023:

“These sweet girls are very curious and enjoy going crazy on their large wheel or coming to sniff your fingers.

Their previous owner had a dog who was aggressive toward them and made them extremely nervous.  They noted that Remi Rose tends to be nippy when she gets nervous (her first instinct is to bite, then run away) whereas Prinia just freezes or runs away.  Because of this, I think the girls would be best suited to an experienced rat owner and may not be the best choice for small children or a household with dogs.

They are the perfect fit for an experienced adopter who would be happy to spend time at the cage with them rather than taking them out, as they don’t (yet) like to be handled.

These girlies love to climb, so they would do well in a big cage with lots of climbing opportunities and entertainment.

They go wild for Cheerios or sweet corn!”
