UPDATE 7/26/19:

“These girls are very silly and sweet! They both absolutely love the space pod and much prefer it to a hammock. They squabble pretty frequently but at the end of the fight are always back cuddling together. They enjoy their wheel but usually walk it at a leisurely pace, and they don’t seem to know what to do with chew toys and boxes. They are probably some of the neatest rats I’ve ever had and they do not chew on the fleece or pull it up at all–the photos below are from 5 days on the same fleece, and it still looks so clean and neat! Though they are not litter trained, they tend to make neat poops and are pretty consistent with where they do it.

Possum is a little more shy than her sister. As her name suggests she comes across as a little hesitant but is totally harmless.

Ermine is a little weirdo. She’s more outgoing and is also territorial and does not do well being introduced to rats other than her sister–at least not other females; she hasn’t yet met a neutered male. She likes to rub her whole body along her favorite human to claim them like a cat would. She tends to zoom around the cage when she gets excited and loves to hand wrestle.”
