These rats came to us on 9/1/18. They were part of a rescue in Hollis, NH where 14 rats were reported to be dumped outside by a lake. Given the trauma of their situation, they are all a bit on the shy side and will need a patient and understanding forever home.

Fostered by Kimberly in Salem, MA.

UPDATE 10/7/18:

“After a few scuffles they all get along well. They don’t seem to be extremely bonded as all 3 but the girls are closest to one another. Bilbo may be fine solo or with other girls. I personally think though that they belong together if that’s a possibility, and they do need to go to someone patient and experienced. They are getting better but it’s still going to take a while for them.”

UPDATE 11/11/18:

” ‘Good morning from Hollis fosters Bilbo (Bill), Plum, and Gooseberry (Goose). We are having so much fun being spoiled and loved by our foster parents and we get along so well together. We’re still a little nervous but we are ready to love you in our forever home.’

These kids are so good. Bill and Plum love head scratchies. Goose is more reserved but that’s only because she’s so curious and wants to explore everything. Always coming up to the door to say hi every morning and take breakfast snacks from my hands. They’ll probably do best all together with someone who is willing to give them some love and patience bringing them completely out of their shells.”
