UPDATE 9/7/21:

“‘Eager Elmer’ and ‘Easy Oakey’ are a delightful duo filled with curiosity and a gusto for life! From the moment they came into our foster home, they charmed us with their happy-go-lucky attitudes and inquisitiveness about what’s going on around them. They always bound up to the bars to greet you first thing in the morning and when you come home from work, and if you’re working or relaxing in the room with them at night you may catch them gently swaying side to side as they try to get a better look at what you’re up to. They are suckers for all varieties of fruits and veggies, and can hardly contain their excitement when offered special treats like egg, nut butter, or soybeans. They will happily crack food puzzles, and will take over their own home decorating with whatever variety of boxes and papers you provide. They love having their backs and ears scratched, and we are still working on getting them comfortable with being lifted away from each other – they love each other too much! They are well accustomed to living in a home where they have to entertain themselves for long stretches during the day while everyone is at work, and are unfazed by goofy barking dogs. I think that if they find someone who is patient and willing to take the time to continue working on their handling skills, they will open up like flowers in the sun.”
