UPDATE 3/4/24:
“Now that they’ve settled in, I’m starting to see their individual personalities come out. They’re all still what I would consider shy rats, though all of them will take treats from my hand. Ideally I’d love to send these guys home with one of the braver rats (Aang, Alfie, or Archie) paired with one or two of the shyer ones (Arlo, Charlie, or Henry), so the sensitive boys can have supportive role models. I’d say Benny and Finley are about in the middle for this group, and could go with either a braver rat or a shyer rat.”
UPDATE 2/28/24:
“These adorable young boys are a little shy, but they will come around quickly with a little patience. They’re easy to pick up even though they’re not very comfortable with it yet. Sudden noises make them run and hide, but they’ll take treats from my hand. Super sweet. They’d do well going home in trios.”
