UPDATE 5/7/24:
“These handsome young boys are super sweet, but they are definitely on the shy side. Sudden noises will send them scurrying for shelter, although they can’t resist coming back out for snacks. A good fit for them would be someone who has had rats (or shy cats!) before, and who has time to spend with them out of their cage each day. They are curious and they love foraging toys, new boxes, and fresh paper to shred.
They are currently paired up, although if you want a trio we can do that too!
Alfie and Finley: Alfie is a gentle potato, while Finley is much more of a go-getter. Finley is definitely the one who would be arranging the all-night parties.
Archie and Charlie: Archie is just a smidge smaller than his brothers; I think of him as serious and bookish, but it could just be his face! Charlie is the classic well balanced middle child.
Benny and Henry: Benny is curious and interested in new things, while Henry has a bit of a criminal record as he has nipped me before. This was my mistake, as he really wanted a snack I was offering, and I think he just pushed past his comfort zone and then suddenly went AIEEEE, A HAND!! and panicked. I’m confident he just needs more calm, gentle experiences with someone who has had rats before and understands them.”
