UPDATE 1/28/16:  “Foster sisters Maxine and Delphine continue to be cute, sweet, goofballs. If not sleeping snuggled up together in their space pod , they’re play wrestling, climbing like little monkeys, and bopping all around the cage. The girls are super social and curious, always  interested in what the humans are doing. They are still learning to politely use their teeth so I would suggest they go to a home without young children at this time.  I know that whoever takes this pair home will have no shortage of chuckles due to their antics and no shortage of “aww, aren’t they cute”s due to their little faces and boop-able tummies.”

UPDATE  12/30/15: “The girls are great. Santa brought them some new yogurt treats that they are very excited about. Both of the foster girls are still working on being polite with their teeth to human hands, so I would continue to suggest that they not go home to families with young children at this point. Very sweet girls in all other respects.”

UPDATE 12/21/15:  (First update from foster family): “We’ve had Maxine and Delphine, otherwise known as “Maxinie” and “Delphinie”, for nearly a month. They’re sweet, social, curious youngsters who strike the perfect balance of playful-goofiness and lazy-cuddle bugs. The two love each other and should definitely be adopted together. They are both learning how to be polite with their teeth, so at this time I would not recommend they go to homes with young children, though they have not demonstrated aggression to our other female rat. The girls are always eager to greet you (especially if you’re carrying a banana treat), and love exploring. They are extremely cute and entertaining and will bring much joy to their forever home!”
