UPDATE 11/3/25:
Loki and Thor are such sweethearts. They’re completely comfortable with being picked up and petted. They’re extremely curious and love climbing (especially onto your shoulders).
Loki is very active. He loves exploring, climbing, and playing with paper. Thor is calmer and slightly cautious, but also very affectionate. They seem incredibly close. They always sleep, play, eat, and explore together. They even cooperate by sharing the water bottle while drinking from it at the same time.
These two made my first time caring for rats a wonderful experience! I think they would be terrific company for either experienced or first-time rat owners.
I would happily provide their original cage and some toys for them. 🙂
*Please note – upon arrival, our foster put these boys into a Critter Nation cage, but they seemed nervous. They are much happier and more comfortable being in their previous cage. It is recommended for an adopter to at least start them in this cage to help with their transition to a new home.*
