These girls came to us on 2/20/22 because their owner didn’t have enough time to care for them.

UPDATE 3/8/22:

“The girls are doing good but they still are very fearful and try to jump out of our arms. They have come along way though and come out of their huts when I’m in the room and while I clean their cage. I can pick them up now when they are in their hut with little to no problem and they take syringe vitamin C now; I even got Layla to eat from my hand. This all was not doable when they first came so I think in due time they will realize they are safe. From my understanding the previous owner had a dog that kept trying to eat/hurt them so even the littlest of sound scared them. I use a sound/song machine and that has helped them get use to noises.”

UPDATE 4/17/22:

“Even though they are still cage skittish they are loving lap snuggles now!”
