UPDATE 8/2/24:
Lagertha (we call her Ruby, short for Rhubarb) is the sweetest little girl you’ll meet. She loves hanging out and giving kisses.
At only 6 months old, she still has baby energy and is always looking to play. She has been great with other rats, hasn’t shown any signs of aggression, cuddles with the whole group and plays with the other babies.
She’s apparently training to be a gymnast because she’s always doing crazy stunts and will climb up your arm out of the cage like a tightrope. If you’re interested in teaching a rat to do tricks, she’s your girl. She’s extremely intelligent and food motivated which makes her the perfect candidate. We actually taught her to climb a little staircase to get her treats every night.
She would definitely do best with friends her age, but she is also very gentle with our older girls she’s housed with as well.
