UPDATE 2/4/24:
“Kili and Mr Fields are a quiet pair of manrats.
Kili is more outgoing and will often come to the front door to see if any treats are forthcoming. Mr Fields is more timid but is happy to accept any offered treats.
Neither is particularly fond of being picked up. Kili is a bit easier to handle but Mr Fields prefers being scooped in fleece.
Once out, they enjoy free roam time, running in and out of boxes and tubes. Once pooped out, they’ll curl up together and accept human pets.”
UPDATE 1/4/24:
“Kili and Mr Fields are a pair of sweet manrats who are a bit timid at the start.
They don’t love being picked up but once out, they love playtime and enjoy exploring new surroundings.
I think they’ll become more relaxed with time and consistent handling.”
