These girls came to us on 1/17/20 after they were found abandoned. They were initially very scared and aggressive, but now have really turned things around and are ready for adoption!

Fostered by Heather in Harrison, ME.

ADOPTED!

#2020082N, “Karui”, Rat, Black, Berkshire, Standard Ears/Standard Coat, Female, DOB: 01/03/2020, Spayed/Neutered?: No

#2020083N, “Mito”, Rat, Grey, Berkshire, Standard Ears/Standard Coat, Female, DOB: 01/03/2020, Spayed/Neutered?: No

UPDATE 1/9/21:

“They are sweet and loving and so much fun. I absolutely adore them! They have no problem being handled. During free play they like to check in with me and enjoy being cute shoulder rats. They are hearty eaters and have definitely put on weight since they came to me, but are still petite and look much younger compared to my other girls. They love the occasional yogi and eat salmon and fruit and veggies.

Mito loves head rubbies/scritches and will close her eyes and fall asleep and cuddle. Her fur is very sticky-uppy and fuzzy. I think she may have some Rex genes in her.

Karui loves to climb (they both are very active) and is always greeting me at the cage. ”
