Karen came to us on 10/15/23 with her sister Georgia as a transfer from another shelter. Georgia was made sanctuary due to health issues and Karen kept her company until Georgia passed in August. Turnip & Karen were introduced to each other in October. Due to some medical issues, Turnip was made sanctuary. Karen was made sanctuary again so that she could keep Turnip company.
