Mama Iris came to us on 7/19/22 after being rescued from living outside. Her babies were born on 8/2/22.
Fostered by Lauren in Nashua, NH.
UPDATE 9/30/22:
“The whole crew is mostly potty trained with only a few occasional accidents. Fern and Faun are usually together, and Iris and Pixie are usually together. Fern and Faun look very similar, but the markings on their tails are distinct so you can easily tell who’s who.
Iris is very friendly with other rats. She’s shy around humans, but she’ll happily let you pick her up and pat her if you are gentle and calm.
Faun has so much energy that she’s impossible to photograph – no photo does justice to how cute she is. She is very friendly with other rats, some might even say too friendly, when they’d prefer to be left alone but she wants to PLAY.
Fern loves to hide under blankets and chase Faun around. (Or, more likely, be chased by Faun.) She is playful and energetic.
Pixie is a little more calm than her sisters, but still a high-energy, friendly, playful baby. She can often be found exploring with Fern and Faun, or snuggled up with Iris in a cuddle cup.”
