UPDATE 4/21/21:

“These two are perfect gentlemen! They came to us having had little handling and opportunity to play, but after only a few days they are happy to eat from our hands and accept pets and scritches. They’re curious, too, and will come to the front of the cage to see what you’re up to.

Because they’re still learning to trust humans, they’re wary of being picked up for now, and they sometimes startle at loud noises or sudden movement. No nips, though, and they politely release any fingers they mistake for food!

Goober is the more outgoing and adventurous brother. He loves exploring new spaces, including your lap, if you sit still! He also has the makings of a great shoulder rat — while I worked, he took a nap in my sweatshirt hood for an hour with no issue.

Goose is the more dominant of the two, though shyer than his brother. He loves snacks and is always eager to gather up food for his secret stash. He likes being pet while dozing, which is a rewarding experience since he has the loveliest lamb-soft curly coat.”
