UPDATE 2/26/2023:

“I’m calling these boys Johnny and Robby (the Goo Goo Rats!). I’ve only had them for a little while, but they are doing great. Timid but curious and already showing increased confidence in just a few days.”

UPDATE 3/11/2023:

“These boys are so much fun! They are obviously still growing and learning about the world around them. They are endlessly curious and getting braver each day. Both are eager to interact when I come by the cage (mostly looking for treats, haha) and are quick to start exploring during free play time, including crawling all over me. They are both getting more comfortable with petting and I expect they will tolerate being picked up before long. They are very sweet: play-wrestling each other on occasion, then usually curling up together in their hammock for a snooze.”
