UPDATE5/5/23:

“These boys are amazing!  Easily the most people-friendly rats I have encountered.  If they are awake and they know you are around, they want your attention.

Both boys love to explore during free roam and will gladly climb up your leg to see what you are doing and to get scritches or treats.  They also both use their wheel and do a very good job using their litter boxes inside and outside the cage.

They were separated for roughly four months prior to coming to MRR because Fred reportedly bullied George, but starting with the  long ride home I kept them together and slowly worked them up to living together in a DCN.  I’m happy to report that these guys are definitely bonded again!  They definitely enjoy wrestling one another while out free roaming but it doesn’t go beyond “boys being boys” or “brothers being brothers” roughhousing.

The love that their previous owners poured into these guys is very apparent. Whoever ends up with these guys will be very lucky indeed!.”
