UPDATE 8/13/22:

“Frank is a very adventurous rat – his favorite thing to do by far is to explore around the house, and whenever I take him out for play time he’s always more interested in checking out his surroundings than in me. That being said, he’s very relaxed and gentle, and seems to love some snuggles and scratches on his side from time to time. He seems like quite a social rat to me as well – where my boy was very cautious of him at first, he was very insistent on getting to know him, although not in a way that I think was aggressive at all – I think he just really enjoys time spent with his cagemate.”
