These boys came to us on 9/27/18. Their original owner was allergic and could not keep them; they passed the boys along to a friend, who could not keep them as they had intact females.
Fostered by Michele in Old Lyme, CT.
ADOPTED!
#2018618N, “Frank”, Rat, Blue, Hooded, Standard Ears/Hairless Coat, Male, DOB: 04/27/2018, Spayed/Neutered?: No
#2018619N, “Louis”, Rat, Blue, Masked, Standard Ears/Standard Coat, Male, DOB: 04/27/2018, Spayed/Neutered?: No
UPDATE 10/8/18:
“The boys are great. Frank and Louis are curious and loving but really not wild about being held for long periods. These rats, especially Louis, are NOT treat motivated. They both will eat wheat thins, with or without peanut butter; butternut squash; shredded green leaf lettuce; rice; cooked pasta; scrambled or hard-boiled egg. Frank likes commercial treats better than Louis does. They sleep on top of a hammock (not in it), in an igloo or in a suet box (I will provide fresh one to adopter) with two holes in it.”
