UPDATE 10/27/25:
You could say it’s spring-time in our house because these boys are blossoming into such fun and curious little explorers. They love testing out new enrichment and locations but are becoming more open to climbing into my lap and being scooped when play time ends. I am very happy to see their progress and it’s been so fun to watch them gain confidence.
UPDATE 9/30/25:
If rats could be professional climbers this trio could join the Olympic team.
Fidget is the sweetheart of the three and will come visit during play time. He’s easy to scoop and loves to explore. He’s to ready to explore to cuddle. He can be found climbing the side of his cage, the cat tower, and everything in-between so he would do best in a cage with climbing items like ropes.
Gidget and Ridget are cautious yet curious and independent boys. They will come say hi during play time but don’t appreciate being handled. They are trained to use stairs or a ramp to leave their cage for play time and are super food motivated so it’s easy to get them to go home.
All three boys love to burrow in fleece, hidey homes, or hammocks when they are in their cage.
