UPDATE 5/17/20:
“He is quite shy, which is not surprising based on the circumstances he came from. He does allow me to pick him up and he will eat his veggies in my lap. He likes his hiding places, but he eats very well when he comes out. I think with a patient owner he will continue to improve with his social skills.”
