Donut and her sisters Bagel & Eclair were transferred to us on 2/3/26 from an overcrowded shelter.  They were made sanctuary animals due to chronic health issues.

Fostered by Aspen in Manchester, NH.

UPDATE 5/28/26:

These sweet girls have made amazing progress with their current fosters!  They are still getting used to being picked up, but are able to be scooped if you ask, “Can I scoop you?”  The secret to these girls is to read their body language.

All of them are easily moved in and out of the cage using igloos.  Once out, they are playful and love to explore.  All but Bagel enjoy head rubs and tickles.  They are very smart and would benefit from a lot of variety in their enrichment activities so they don’t get bored.
They are much more confident and comfortable as a group.  A sweet little mischief!

UPDATE 3/26/26:

These sweet girls had quite a rough start in life, but have come a long way during the months they’ve been in foster care. They are a bonded group who all get along and play often. They are friendly and curious, but still a little timid when they come out of the cage. They prefer not to be picked up, but can be moved in and out of the cage using a snuggle sack. They will accept gentle pets, will crawl on hands, and will take treats willingly. They love forage toys, berries and Cheerios. With time and patience, these young girls will continue to come out of their shells.
