These boys came to us on 8/30/2022 because their owner no longer had time for them.

“Dexter – the smallest of all the boys with a black cap and just the start of a line down his back. He’s a very sweet and people oriented rat, and is usually the first at the front of the cage. He’s a little nervous when first picked up but settles in well once against your chest and is eager to climb around on your shoulders when the mood strikes him.
Marco – pink eyed white. He can be a bit skittish, but as long as he knows you’re there when you go to handle him he’s just fine being picked up. He is a very busy guy and is constantly looking for places he shouldn’t be during free roam – despite his poor eyesight he is very good at it!
Pablo – the biggest and broadest of all the boys, with one spot on his belly and a broken stripe down his back. He’s a lazy fella, preferring to lounge in his hammock until he’s sure whatever I’ve got is worth checking out. He was a bit ambivalent about me at first but has developed into a very snuggly guy., He seems to most enjoy the company of Rac.
Rac – medium of the 3 black capped, two spots on his belly and a broken stripe down his back. He’s inquisitive, and very food motivated. Very wiggly, he enjoys climbing everything he can get his paws on and has no qualms about climbing right over his brothers. Seems most closely bonded with Pablo.
It would be nice if the four boys could be adopted out together as they get along very well, but I understand that can be a harder placement.”
