UPDATE 9/1/26:

These boys have come a long way during their time in foster. They are friendly and curious, although still a bit cautious when it comes to being picked up or handled. All three rats are very sweet to each other, interested in their humans, and never bite. While still getting used to human handling, they do enjoy taking treats from your hand and putting their little paws on you to explore what you’ve brought them. If you are still and patient, they are not scared and will climb around near you and try to figure out what you’re all about.

Sir Pounce and Clover are sweet rats who are still getting used to being out of their cage. Sir Pounce enjoys pets and head scratches while in his cage or on the ground, once he gets to know you. Both do best with calm, gentle movements while they get comfortable with humans. Pickle is just as sweet as the other boys, but he seems to have a more timid nature. He sometimes seems to freeze and stay perfectly still, but lets you gently rub his forehead, and other times he runs away when your hand comes anywhere near him.

These boys will do best with an experienced and patient adopter who will take the time to let them become comfortable and interact with their humans on their own terms.
