Cheese came to us on 10/26/21 after he was found abandoned. Chuck joined him 11/1/21 from a home who planned to use him to breed feeders but didn’t like the smell. Curzon completed the trio on 11/2/21 after he also was found abandoned, and now all three boys are buddies!

UPDATE 12/14/21:
“Chuck is still coming out of his shell but will come to the cage door for treats and is spending more time exploring during out-of-cage time. He is often seen snuggling Cheese and/or Curzon on their hammocks.
Cheese is also working on his confidence but does not hesitate when it comes to food and will snatch whatever he can get but some of his favorites include apples, Cheerios, and yogurt treats. Cheese is currently the “top rat” of the trio.
Curzon is a brazen rat who loves to explore and doesn’t mind leaping with abandon to do so. He is playful and loves to be “chased” by hands and will happily bound around with joy. Curzon has a shorter tail due to an injury but this does not stop him from running, climbing, and enjoying life.”
