Apollo came to us on 5/16/22 because his owner no longer had enough time for him. In August he was diagnosed with a heart murmur and the beginnings of heart failure, so was made a Sanctuary foster. These girls came to us on 4/8/22 from a home with too many pets. Due to chronic respiratory concerns, they were made Sanctuary status in June 2022.
Rex came to us on 4/24/22 after his companion died. Due to his senior status, he was sent to a home with some buddies for him and made a Sanctuary foster.

Stella & Lou came to us on 10/11/21 after their owner had surgery and could no longer afford or take care of them. They were already seniors, and when Lou was diagnosed with a lifelong respiratory condition in December they were made permanent Sanctuary fosters. Stella Lou
Charles came to us in August 2021 from a different shelter - he was biting and unable to make friends. After a neuter he was able to meet some lady friends, but still not human-friendly enough to be adopted out. He loves meeting all the other senior Sanctuary ladies in his foster's home. UPDATE 2/6/22:
