Casper & Remi came to us on 11/11/24 because their owner no longer had time for them.

UPDATE 2/7/25:
Unlike their previous foster, I truly am finding neither of these boys want to bite and I am feeling quite confident Remi has a vision problem. Whether it be simple near-sighted vision like most older humans, or something further he has NOT bitten myself or anyone in my family with any sort of aggression. He’s actually really gentle when taking treats – unlike his brother who’s a barbarian – lol. No skin has been broken, and it really appears he’s not seeing the right item.
UPDATE 1/29/25:
Casper is a curious and friendly boy. He is okay getting pet and will take food out of your hand. While he will come over and greet you and is quite curious, he doesn’t like to get picked up but is okay out of the cage and will perch on your shoulder.
Remi is shy. He recently recovered from a tumor on his side and is ready for a second chance at life with a new family. He has bitten people twice, possibly thinking we were offering snacks because he is not gentle when he takes snacks, neither is Casper.
Both of the boys will come out for snacks when I shake the baby puffs container or when I come over and call their names.
I am confident that if these two boys are adopted by someone who is patient and plans to spend time building relationships, Remi and Casper will quickly become your best friends.
