UPDATE 9/19/23:
“Misunderstood by his previous owners, Bridger is outgoing, playful and sociable with humans and completely appropriate during play time with other rats. He does use his teeth to groom me, play with hands and has gently held onto my hand with his teeth when he doesn’t want me to leave him in his cage. None of these behaviors are real attempts to bite. He loves scratches, building nests and is easy to pick up. He is affectionate and will attempt to steal your heart. I miss him already.”
